Upgrading the Soma transformation node version

If you wish to utilize the latest version of the Soma transformation node in Algoreus for use in data axons, it's important to understand that the installed version of the Soma application cannot be upgraded independently. The deployed version of the Soma transformation node can, however, be updated.

Please note, to leverage the newest version, you need to incorporate it into an axon and initiate the wrangling process from within the axon itself.

Here are the steps to deploy the latest version of the Soma transformation node:

1. Open Algoreus Genesis: Initiate the Genesis in your Algoreus environment.

2. Check the current version of Soma: On the left panel under "Transform," find "Soma." Hover over the Soma node to see the installed version.

3. Check for newer versions: Visit the Algoreus Hub, select "Nodes," and browse to find the "Soma Transform Node."

4. Deploy the latest version: Click on "Soma Transform Node" and then select "Deploy" to install the latest version of the Soma node.

5. Finalize Deployment: Confirm the deployment by clicking "Finish."

6. Set the latest version as default: Go back to the Algoreus Genesis and hover over the Soma node in the "Transform" section. Click "Change" and set the latest version as the default.

Now, you can add the latest version of the Soma node to your data axons in Algoreus.
